Google Search Console Integration.

Historical engagement data is a first-party signal you can't fake. Your GSC already has it — Patnick just connects the wiring.

What is it?

Google Search Console Integration, defined.

Google Search Console Integration is a one-click OAuth integration that connects your verified Google Search Console property to Patnick, syncing top queries, page-level click and impression data, and backfilled 16-month history (the maximum GSC exposes via API) into the query universe and historical-data layer of the 3-score model. First-party, read-only, audit-safe.

GSC holds the single most valuable signal in SEO: historical engagement data from your actual users. Patnick connects via OAuth, pulls 16 months of first-party query, impression, click, and position data, and feeds it directly into your query network and 3-score model.

Why it matters

Four concrete outcomes.

OAuth read-only

Patnick never writes to your GSC. Read-only scope means zero risk to your verified property settings.

Daily automatic sync

Top 1000 queries per site are refreshed every 24 hours. No manual CSV exports.

16-month backfill

First sync pulls your entire GSC history so you see long-term trends immediately.

Page + query join

Patnick joins query-level and page-level data so you know which URL ranks for what.

How it works

The 4-step process.

  1. 01

    OAuth consent

Click 'Connect GSC' → redirected to Google → select your verified property → grant read-only access.

  2. 02

    Property matching

Patnick matches the GSC property to your registered site by domain.

  3. 03

    Initial backfill

First sync fetches 16 months of top 1000 queries per site. Takes 30-90 seconds.

  4. 04

    Daily sync runner

Cron job pulls incremental updates daily so your query universe stays fresh.

Frequently asked questions.

What is Google Search Console integration?
A direct OAuth connection between Patnick and your Google Search Console account that lets Patnick read your top queries, clicks, impressions, and average position data — then use that data to build a personalized query universe for AI visibility probing.
What permissions does Patnick ask for?
Read-only access to the Google Search Console API (webmasters.readonly scope). Patnick cannot modify your verified properties, submit URLs to index, or change any GSC settings. The integration is audit-safe.
How much historical data does Patnick pull?
On first sync: 16 months of top 1000 queries per site (the maximum Google exposes via the GSC API). After that, daily incremental updates.
Can I disconnect GSC later?
Yes. Revoke the OAuth token from your Google Account settings, or click 'Disconnect' in the Patnick dashboard. All stored GSC data is deleted from Patnick within 7 days.
Does this work for multiple sites?
Yes. You can connect multiple GSC properties to one Patnick account. Each property maps to a separate site in Patnick. Scale plan supports unlimited properties.
What if I don't have GSC set up?
You need a verified Google Search Console property before connecting. Patnick's onboarding guides you through the GSC verification process (DNS TXT record or HTML file upload) if you haven't done it yet.
